Who is Mobek?
Mobek is a family-run outdoor furniture business based in North Wales, trading for around 20 years. We are the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for CR Plastic Products, a Canadian manufacturer of furniture made from recycled HDPE plastic.

CR Plastic Products is a Canadian manufacturer based in Stratford, Ontario, operating a 300,000 sq ft facility and employing over 200 people. Mobek is their exclusive distributor for the UK and Ireland, so every Mobek product is manufactured by CR Plastic Products in Canada and supplied to UK customers by Mobek.
How long has Mobek been trading?
Mobek has been selling outdoor furniture for around 20 years, and has worked with CR Plastic Products’ recycled plastic range for the last 5 of those years.
Where is Mobek based?
Mobek’s head office is at Unit 4, Ty Mawr Enterprise Park, Llysfaen, Old Colwyn, LL29 8UE, North Wales.
What is Mobek furniture made from?
Mobek furniture is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic, recycled material commonly sourced from bottle caps, milk jugs and juice containers. The plastic is ground up, blended with pigment, and extruded into durable plastic lumber, which is then built into furniture using custom in-house moulds.
How much recycled plastic goes into each piece?
Mobek furniture is made from up to 100% recycled plastic. As an example, each Adirondack chair uses the equivalent of around 579 recycled milk jugs.
Is HDPE plastic furniture actually durable?
Yes. The material is 7/8" thick with solid colour throughout and a woodgrain finish, and is guaranteed never to rot, crack or splinter. It’s resistant to moisture, rot and insects, and colour-compounded so it resists fading, making it well suited to being left outdoors year-round in the UK climate.
What products does Mobek sell?
Mobek’s range includes Adirondack chairs, rocking chairs, the Tofino modular deep-seating collection (sofas, loveseats and armchairs), benches, side and dining tables, footstools, and accessories such as fabric cushions.
What colours are available?
Frame colours vary by product but commonly include White, Black, Beige, Slate Grey, Chocolate, Blue, Sky Blue and Aqua, among others. Cushion fabrics are available separately in colours such as Bordeaux, Denim, Ecru, Forest, Slate, Anthracite, Cobalt, Ivory, Pewter and Taupe; call the team for current cushion pricing and lead times.
What's the difference between the Classic and Modern Adirondack chair?
Both are built on the same durable recycled-plastic frame; the difference is primarily in styling. The Modern Adirondack is also available bundled with a matching footstool as a set. Check each product page for exact dimensions and available colours.
Can I buy matching accessories like footstools and tables?
Yes. Most seating ranges have matching footstools, side tables and tete-a-tete tables designed to pair with specific chair models, so you can build out a coordinated set.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is free within UK mainland for most postcodes. A small number of postcodes carry a surcharge (for example, AB postcodes are £26), and a handful of remote postcodes (including parts of the Scottish Highlands & Islands, and the Isle of Wight) currently can’t be reached at all. Contact Mobek to check your specific postcode before ordering.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are usually dispatched within 3 working days of payment, assuming stock is available. If an item is out of stock, Mobek will contact you with an updated timeframe; made-to-measure items may take longer and timing will be agreed at the point of order.
Do you deliver outside UK mainland?
Mobek only supplies to UK mainland addresses, with a small number of postcode exceptions and surcharges as noted on the delivery page. International shipping isn’t currently offered.
